Day 1 (11 Sept.) 8:30 Introductions - Jonathan Odhong’, Facilitator Process: Check-in, participants to interact freely outside the meeting room if possible. Find out what mood your fellow participant is in, How he is since the last meeting, what interesting thing has happened with your fellow participant between last time you met and now. Volunteer will go first, then we proceed in a structured go-around format. 9:00 Welcome and opening remarks

Process:__ 10 mins presentation + 10 mins clarification in __plenary Group work (20 mins) - Participants break-out into site groups to: * Reflect on presentation by I. Hoeschle-Zeledon and determine which lose ends: (a) need to be absolutely addressed and can be finalized within the next 6 months and don't need any funding, (b) It would be great to address should circumstances change and more funds are available * Outcomes of these discussions to be recorded on flip charts and will be presented in a bus stop format. * Presentation by each team on their existing lose ends (TBD by site Kongwa Kiteto, Babati, Malawi) - (10 mins + 10 mins clarification) x 3 16:00 Tea/Coffee Break

  • Participants break into groups (by site) to plan, those not involved (e.g. Zambia) can start writing their sections for the handbook

All draft chapters to be collected and shared with all participants by the facilitator before lunch break, this will help in the review process as the team working on a chapter presents and the other participants can refer to the work and make practical input/feedback/comment about what is already typed up.
